Overview

It was born as a car that can be driven exactly as intended on any road in the world, thanks to the approach of building a car competitive in the WRC, learned from TOYOTA GAZOO Racing WRT, and to outside professional drivers who took part in its evaluation from early in development. Driven by master driver Morizo's wish to bring Toyota's sports cars back, it is the first Toyota model developed with the reverse approach of turning a motorsport vehicle into a production car. It is built on GR FACTORY, a dedicated line newly set up at the Motomachi plant, which has produced many sports models.
