Overview

A three-wheeled vehicle built to kei car standards, built and sold by Daihatsu. Focusing on small-lot transport demand from small businesses and shopkeepers who relied on bicycles and motorcycles because even three-wheeled trucks were too expensive, it was developed aiming at mass production through Daihatsu's own integrated production and at low-price sales. It is also known for its catchphrase the helicopter of the town and its early use of TV commercials. As the mainstream of the market moved from the three-wheeled Midget to the four-wheeled Hijet, it became the company's last three-wheeled truck.
