A coupe-type small passenger car that appeared as the successor to the 117 Coupe, handled by Yanase as well as Isuzu. The first generation put Giorgetto Giugiaro's design car Asso di Fiori into volume production almost unchanged. The second generation was a front-wheel-drive car sharing its platform with the third-generation Gemini, and with Isuzu's withdrawal from producing its own passenger cars, it became the last passenger car Isuzu developed. The Yanase version was called the Piazza Nero.
