Brighter body colors, noticed in a parking lot

Uchiyamada, who had worked on development of the second generation, became chief engineer for the third. Watching the cars in parking lots, he noticed that body colors were gradually getting brighter, and predicting that more people would drive the car as their own private car, he offered a white body color. The third generation was called the "White Crown" and led the way in Japan's motorization.
