From long nose to wide and low

The exterior design of the fourth generation (Z32) was by Yoshio Maezawa, Isao Sono, Toshio Yamashita and others, then in Nissan's design department. They replaced the long nose and short deck that had been its hallmark and settled on a wide-and-low basic design. According to Yamashita, the overall image they had in mind for the Z32 was a one-motion form with a solid, high rear and a low front.
