A mid-size luxury car and a sister car to the Mark II and the Chaser. It went on sale as the top model of the Vista dealer network on the day the network opened. The first generation shared its platform and door panels with the Mark II and the Chaser, and made its debut half a year ahead of their model changes. From the second generation it gave up the pillared hardtop to become a sedan with sashed doors (window frames), and its cabin was finished as the most luxurious of the three sisters. The fifth generation was positioned as the most formal of the three, and it ended production together with the Chaser. The name means, in Spanish, an ornament that shines on the crest of a Western coat of arms.
