Overview

A luxury sedan sold by Toyota. Its width was held to 1,700 mm, equivalent to the limit of the five-number (compact) class, while its wheelbase matched the 2,780 mm of the Crown of the time. It carried no Toyota CI emblem, but instead an emblem based on the initial "P" of its name. The name comes from the French words for "progress" and "enterprise".
