Overview

A grand tourer aimed at the market of the Z car, the Fairlady Z, which had been a great success in America. The name was Supra for North America and Celica XX (double-X) for Japan. The Celica XX lasted two generations, and from the model corresponding to the third generation, whose design was no longer based on the Celica, it was called Supra in Japan as well. The fifth generation is the first global model in GR, the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing sports car series.
