A Toyota sedan. It appeared as the Celica Camry, a sister car to the Celica and Carina; with the second generation it switched to front-wheel drive, dropped the Celica name, and was placed above the Corolla at Corolla dealers. With the third generation, local production began in the United States and Australia and it became a global strategic car, and from the sixth generation onward it was developed with sales outside Japan as the main aim. It was merged with the Windom, and from the ninth generation the Japanese version became hybrid-only. Its sale in Japan has ended.
