Overview
Born to meet the need for compact SUVs in Japan and the United States. With 200 mm of ground clearance and a 600 mm hip point, it proposed a package combining the merits of a passenger car and an SUV. The Forester has been highly rated as an SUV with comfortable driving performance unaffected by road conditions, easy maneuverability and excellent practicality. Carrying on its basic value of going anywhere and being usable anywhere, it continues to grow as an SUV at the core of SUBARU.
