Overview

A hatchback compact car built and sold by Suzuki. In Japan an earlier model went on sale first, and then the first generation, developed as a global strategic car, was announced. With the development concept of a dynamic compact that looks powerful and drives powerfully, it was produced simultaneously with the same quality and performance in four countries: Japan, Hungary, India and China. The Swift Sport, a hot hatch evoking the cars entered in the JWRC, is also offered. The third generation introduced the new HEARTECT platform, and it has since moved on to the fourth generation.
