Overview

Launched from Clio dealers as the Accord Inspire, an upper-class compact four-door hardtop with the world's first FF midship layout with a longitudinal five-cylinder engine. It combines the dynamism and elegant form that come from a long wheelbase with pleasant driving. The fifth generation further raised the sporty driving and quality of an upper sedan, and adopted Variable Cylinder Management (VCM), switching combustion among six, four and three cylinders to suit driving conditions.
