Overview

Mitsubishi's fourth sporty car, after the Galant GTO, the Galant FTO and the Lancer Celeste. It took wedge-shaped proportions with a slant nose and a short duck tail, and retractable headlamps were adopted to cut drag. Through Chrysler's sales network it was sold as the Conquest, handled first by Plymouth and Dodge dealers and later by Chrysler dealers.
