Subaru

A passenger car built by Fuji Heavy Industries (now SUBARU). Its predecessor was the SUBARU 1000, and it went on sale as a minor-change version of it, improving its appeal in response to market demand for more luxury and more power. A further minor change moved it to the SUBARU ff-1 1300G series, making it a short-lived model of a little over a year. It was Fuji Heavy Industries' first full-fledged small car for export to America.
