A big chance to do what couldn't be done before

Tashiro's belief as chief engineer was that a car's evolution always comes from customers' voices. Younger customers wanted advanced equipment, customers raising children wanted to look after them inside the car, and senior customers wanted a car that is easy to get in and out of. But the previous platform could not achieve all of that. The new Tanto, on the new DNGA platform, was a big chance to do what could not be done before.
