Bigger inside, same ease of handling

Murata wanted the sixth-generation Outback to be a car that stays close to customers' lives and makes them want to head out. The cabin was lengthened to give more knee room in the rear seats, and the cargo area became one of the largest in Subaru's lineup. Even so, changes to the body size were kept to a minimum: the wheelbase and the width across the door mirrors were unchanged, keeping the easy handling of a 5.5 m minimum turning radius.
