Story

Developed under the keyword "back to the origin" to return the light-duty Prado, which had shifted toward luxury, to its true form. With its arrival, every model came to be named simply "Land Cruiser".

From 150 to 250: a difference of 100

The Prado's numbers had advanced by 20 or 30 at a time, from 70 to 90, 120 and 150, but the new model jumped all the way to 250. Moritsu said the difference of 100 reflects how far it has evolved. It uses the same GA-F platform as the 300 Series and raises its basic performance as an off-roader.

Changing its face after you buy it

The 250 was built so that its nose can be changed after purchase. Even if you buy one with the three-lamp headlights, you can later have the dealer swap them for round headlights.
