Overview
A large luxury sedan from Lexus, the luxury brand run by Toyota. It has been in the lineup alongside the LS since Lexus was launched in North America, and as the only front-wheel-drive Lexus sedan it is designed with the emphasis on ride comfort and quietness. The second to fourth generations were sold in Japan as the Toyota Windom, and the fifth and sixth generations were not sold in Japan. The seventh generation was the first to be introduced to Japan as the ES.
