Overview
An entry model of Toyota's family car line, developed jointly with Daihatsu as the successor to the Duet. Its sister car is the Daihatsu Boon. The name means step or footstep in Italian. The second generation was also developed jointly with Daihatsu, and the third-generation model was handled entirely by Daihatsu, from development to production. It was announced that production of that generation would end.
