Subaru

Fuji Heavy Industries' mainstay model. The first generation was born carrying the EJ20 horizontally opposed engine, which went on to serve as a sports engine for 30 years. In Japan it led the RV boom and was the pioneer that established the station wagon market. With the introduction of the third-generation sedan, the sedan was named B4. It was also Subaru's first US-built car, and beyond Japan it supported Fuji Heavy Industries' results as Subaru's global strategic car. Later the lineup became the Outback only.
