Overview

Launched as a new six- and seven-seat model combining the spacious room of a one-box car with the comfort of a sedan. With the same front-engine layout as passenger cars, it lowered the floor and arranged the seats in three rows. The fifth generation adopted rear sliding doors and built an ultra-low-floor platform raising the ceiling and lowering the floor. It has been well received for qualities such as the fuel economy of its e:HEV two-motor hybrid system. A partial improvement made a large second-row roll sunshade standard on every grade.
