Both speed and a grown-up GT
Tamura believes a GT-R must be both fast on the circuit and a proper gran turismo. Lean toward a race car and it gets in the way of daily life; lean toward a GT and it becomes heavy and slow. The new model year was his attempt to speak to people on both sides. To improve the ride over the previous stiff suspension, the springs, shocks, bushings, stabilizers and tires were all changed, and the GT-R NISMO, committed to speed on the circuit, was added to the lineup alongside it.
